重點：

1. 基督徒的懷孕，必須是『丈夫的精子』和『妻子的卵子』

2. 『非丈夫的精子』和『非妻子的卵子』，不得使用

3. 捐精、捐卵、使用非丈夫的精子、使用非妻子的卵子，都不合聖經

4. 胎兒的孕育，必須是『妻子的子宮』

5. 『非妻子的子宮』，不得使用。

6. 『代理孕母』不合聖經，因為是『非妻子的子宮』

7. 假使是『丈夫的精子』加『妻子的卵子』，『體外受精』是可以的。

但是，

短時間的『試管嬰兒』是可以的（有移入妻子子宮中孕育），

長時間的『試管嬰兒』是不行的（像科幻電影的大型培養管中孕育）。

8. 每一個胚胎，都是一個人。

9. 由於胚胎是『人』，所以進行人工生殖時，摧毀『多餘的』胚胎不合聖經

第三十一條：處境 The Situation

我們否認這種沒有聖經架構的情況---即『處境倫理』---決定了道德（倫理）的決定。（太5:17-20；約14:15,21；羅13:10；林前13:1-3）

We deny that the situation without this Biblical structure, that is, “situation ethics,” determines the ethical decision. (Matthew 5:17-20; John 14:15,21; Romans 13:10; 1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

 

說明：

處境倫理是不合聖經的。

什麼是『處境倫理』？

最簡單的講法，就是『只要有愛，什麼都可以』。

在處境倫理之下，只要有『愛』（動機），就決定一個行為是道德的。

（當然，這種講法太過簡化，不夠精確，但大家可以抓住大致意思即可。）

 

 

第三十二條：動機 Motives

我們確認除了『行為』之外，『個人動機』決定一個行為是道德的（倫理的）還是不道德的（不合倫理的）。 （撒上16:7；詩139:23,24；太5:27,28；希4:12）

We affirm that personal motive, in addition to behavior, determines whether an act is ethical or unethical. (1 Samuel 16:7; Psalm 139:23,24; Matthew 5:27,28; Hebrews 4:12)

 

我們否認『合聖經的倫理』（道德）只『單單基於動機』或『單單基於行為』就可以決定。（詩139:23,24；馬太5:27,28；希4:12）

We deny that Biblical ethics can be determined only on the basis of either motive or behavior alone. (Psalm 139:23,24; Matthew 5:27,28; Hebrews 4:12)

 

說明：

合聖經的倫理，必須是『動機』和『行為』二者要同時考慮才行。

只考慮『動機』，不管『行為』；

只考慮『行為』，不管『動機』；

這樣是不行的。

 

 

第四十條：受精 Fertilization

我們確認『妻子的卵子』被『丈夫的精子』受精，是聖經的『生殖』模式（創2:24；太19:4-6）。 

We affirm that fertilization of the wife’s egg by her husband’s sperm is the Biblical pattern of reproduction (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6).

 

我們否認『一個女人的卵子』與『一個不是她丈夫的男人的精子』二者的受精，是合乎聖經的（創17:19-21；38:24）。

We deny that the fertilization of the egg of a woman with the sperm of a man who is not her husband is Biblical (Genesis 17:19-21; 38:24).

 

 

第四十一條：體外受精/代理孕母  In Vitro Fertilization/Surrogate Mothers

我們確認，聖經中胚胎或胎兒『受孕』和『發育』的位置，是其親生母親（生物學的母親）（申6:4-9；弗6:4）。 

We affirm that the Biblical location for conception and development of an embryo or fetus is its biological mother (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:4).

 

我們否認胚胎和胎兒的受孕和發育，應該在除了生物學母親之外的任何體內或體外位置進行（除非是『可能需要少數幾個小時』的『體外受精』和『胚胎生長到允許他（他們）的轉移階段』）（申6:4-9；弗6:4）。

We deny that the conception and development of an embryo and fetus should take place within any in vivo or in vitro location other than its biological mother except possibly for the few hours needed for in vitro fertilization and the growth of the embryo(s) to the stage that allow for its (their) transfer (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 6:4).

第六條   上帝對生命的『計劃』和『旨意的掌管』

GOD’S PLAN AND PROVIDENTIAL CONTROL OF LIFE

 

我們確認：上帝是人類生命最終極的給予者和擁有者，因此，只有祂能決定並委派合法的方式來使新的人類生命進入存在。

We affirm that: God is the ultimate giver and owner of human life, and therefore He alone can determine and delegate the lawful means for bringing new human life into existence.

 

我們進一步確認作為造物主，上帝有權取走人的生命，並且決定和委派合法的方式來結束一個人的生命。

We further affirm that as the Creator, God has the right to take human life and determine and delegate what is the lawful means for ending a human life.

 

我們進一步確認上帝打開和關閉子宮，因此在受孕過程中祂是主動的，並且孩子是來自上帝的禮物。

We further affirm that God opens and closes the womb and thus is active in the conception process, and that children are a gift from God.

 

我們否認新生命的形成，或對人類的避孕控制，屬於人類去按照他自己的意願行事，獨立於上帝的書面法律----也就是聖經----之外。

We deny that the forming of new life, or that the control over human beings, belongs to man to do as he wishes, independent from God’s written law-Word.

 

我們進一步否認一個新的人類生命的形成，應該引入不是『丈夫的種』或『妻子卵子』。

We further deny that the formation of a new human life should introduce seed or eggs beyond that of the husband or wife.

我們進一步確認，下列是上帝標準下各種形式的謀殺：

6. 當使用生殖技術時，『摧毀』已受精的人類胚胎（生殖技術包括冷凍人類胚胎、大量體外受精、人類胚胎幹細胞研究、複製人等）; 

destruction of fertilized human embryos when using reproductive technologies (including freezing human embryos, much in vitro fertilization, human embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, etc.);

說明：

最主要觀念是------每一個『胚胎』，都是一個『人』。

因此，摧毀一個多餘的胚胎，就是殺掉一個人。

 

很不幸的，現今人工生殖，像試管嬰兒技術，

為了增加成功率，常常要製造『多個胚胎』（多個卵子進行受精）。

然後植入多個胚胎進入子宮，好比三個。

萬一都成功，再進行減胎手術，減掉二個，只留一個。

或是製造多個胚胎之後，只留一個植入子宮，其他成功的胚胎就處理掉。

這種，都不合聖經，因為『每一個胚胎』都是『一個生命』。

因此，萬一必須進行試管嬰兒，請盡量不要一次做出『多個』胚胎。

假使要做，可以考慮『頂多二個』，

因為萬一二個都成功，起碼可以二個都植入子宮，不會殺掉另一個。

（三個都植入子宮時，能成功完成懷孕過程且安全生下的機率已經變低）

 

 

第十六條    胎兒是一個人，與他的母親截然不同

THE FETUS IS A HUMAN PERSON, DISTINCT FROM ITS MOTHER

 

我們確認聖經毫不含糊地教導：胎兒是一個『人』、一個活的孩子、與母親截然不同。

We affirm that the Bible is unambiguous in teaching that a fetus is a human person, a living child, distinct from its mother.

 

我們進一步確認胎兒擁有自己獨特的基因和染色體，腦波和指紋。

We further affirm that the fetus has its own unique set of genes and chromosomes, brain waves and fingerprints.

 

我們否認宣稱胎兒只是『母親身體的一部分』，或僅僅只是『組織』，這種觀念符合聖經或符合科學。

第十九條    非致命性侵犯人類生命的神聖性

NON-LETHAL VIOLATIONS OF THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE

 

我們確認『優生學』（現擴展到透過技術和使用精子銀行、捐贈者的人工授精、代理孕母、體外受精、基因工程、控制學、奈米技術等）是對人類生命神聖性的侵犯。

We affirm that eugenics (now expanded through the technologies and use of sperm banks, artificial insemination by donor, surrogate mothers, in vitro fertilization, genetic engineering, cybernetics, nanotechnology, etc.) is a violation of the sanctity of human life.

 

不符合聖經的購買和販賣人類，包括：

Unbiblical buying and selling human beings, including:

 

為了製造人類胚胎的目的，購買或出售人類精子或人類卵子；

Buying or selling human sperm or human eggs for the purpose of producing human embryos;

 

一個女人租她的子宮作為代理孕母；
